B.Y.O. Playground has made raising money for playgrounds simple for any organization with our innovative new fundraising program. HOW IT WORKS: Your school purchases the fundraising scratch off cards from B.Y.O. Playground. The cards are playground-themed and are customized with the logo/name of your school. Each professionally printed scratch off card contains (50) scratch off dots with suggested donation amounts ranging from $0.50 to $3.00. Each card generates $100 in donations. Each fundraiser participant takes one card and asks friends, neighbors, and family to scratch off (2) dots and donate amounts under the dots. In return for the donation, donors receive a Thank You sheet with (2) coupons from national retailers and (1) coupon from a local merchant. The fundraising organization must sign up the local merchant. We provide your school with a sample agreement for the local merchant and an electronic file of the national coupons with space for the local coupon. Your school then makes copies of the Thank you sheets for fundraiser participants to hand out to donors. PROGRAM BENEFITS: Participants are not asking people to buy items they may not need or want. They donate to a good cause and receive valuable coupons in return for their donation. Unlike order taking fundraisers, there is no order paperwork, no sorting orders for deliveries, and no return trips to deliver the product to the supporters. Cards are playground themed, so donors know exactly where the donation is going. PROGRAM INVESTMENT: The cost of each card varies with the amount purchased and ranges from $5/card to $3/card. Pricing: 25-50 cards - $5 /each 51-100 cards - $4.50 / each 101-250 cards - $4 / each 251+ cards - $3 / each There is a minimum purchase of 25 cards. As part of your purchase, we also provide you with a sample local merchant agreement and a coupon sheet with space for the local merchant. We also give you the right to copy and distribute the sheets that include our national coupons. The best part of our program is that the ENTIRE program cost can be applied toward a playground purchase from B.Y.O. Playground.* So if you purchased 100 cards from us for $400, that ENTIRE amount can be deducted from the price of your playground – the fundraising material becomes FREE. * In order to deduct full amount from playground purchase, purchase must equal or exceed the donation value of the cards purchased. For example, for 100 cards, playground value must equal or exceed $10,000 to receive the entire $450 deduction. For playground purchases less than the donation value of the cards, credit amount will be based on the percentage of the purchase price to the donation value.
