This season's Create More Play Program (CMP) features a first of its kind offer in the form of Pip n' Squeak, two complementary structures designed to be installed in tandem on playgrounds that expect visits from children aged 2 to 12. Single structures designed for children aged 2 to 12 years of age have always been the most popular designs offered through our CMP Program and it's easy to see how these solve a pretty large problem for communities who want to provide a space that appeals to everyone.

We believe strongly that while single structure solutions are a great way to cut costs and provide a fun space for everyone in many instances these structures are not the best solutions for communities that include an even mix of children over and under 5 years of age. Both age groups require specific exercises and activities to foster proper growth and while younger children may become frustrated with equipment that is too challenging, many older children will become easily bored once they have mastered all of the equipment on a given playground. That is why we suggest the two structure solution whenever possible.

Dual structures separate children by age, naturally controlling the flow of traffic on your playground and directing fast moving and often reckless older children away from youngsters who may be accidentally knocked over or even injured by older children running, jumping or climbing nearby. It's also essential that older children are able to run and move freely without worrying about extremely young kids sharing the space. Parents who feel uncomfortable hovering nearby and frequently reminding older children to ‘be careful' typically don't mind asking older children to behave when there is another nearby area clearly intended for their use.

Surf and Turf contains almost every type of equipment that children under 5 can't utilize including: high slides, a challenging zig zag overhead ladder, geodome and chin up bar while Tic Tac Toe focuses on social learning with an interactive game panel and three gentle slides.
