It started with a swing set. Bill Calhoun, our founder and president, built a backyard swing set for his children in 1999 and thus laid the foundation for what is now BYO Recreation. Over the past 13 years, we have grown from an idea to a full-scale, web-based recreation company and can proudly say that we offer our customers a lot more than just backyard swing sets. We decided to begin a blog in order to provide our customers and website visitors with information on recreation & playground equipment, as well as provide news and updates about our company.
